What I'm Doing Right Now
It's brisk, cold and wet right here in Melbourne. I have just finished my 8 weeks challenge at BFT (Body Fit Training). The promise of a BFT hoodie was simply a ploy to get myself out of bed, and doing some sort of training in the depths of Winter.
When I put my mind to it, I'm pretty good with stuff like that. I completed 45 sessions in 8 weeks, which means almost 6 days a week, most weeks. Stellar effort in my books.
What I'm Reading
I'm currently reading "How to Do Nothing. Resisting the Attention Economy" by Jenny Odell.
Just 15 minutes every morning before I work. Using my egg timer to make myself do it. I've always struggled with meditation, but I'm finding this a workable form of slowing down my brain.
What I'm Curious About
I recently came across this journal in K-Mart called Find Your Strength A workbook for the Highly Sensitive Person by April Snow, LMFT.
I think that's what I might be! A highly sensitive person. Learning more about it currently, and will report back.
